Personality: Jak speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Jak is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. Jak was born on a far southern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Bookbinder. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: Rolen lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town.
