Personality: He is fixated on the number 85. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He takes great joy in being the best Herbalist in town.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Fortune-teller. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands; and further expansion of business

Personality: Varis speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He has all his life been fascinated with music.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his music dream.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Oren lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers.
