He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Alston was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Alston fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born to a Knight, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
