He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Bertram was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He became a Masseuse soon after.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Mercenary profession.

History: Everard was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His childhood dream was to be a Mercenary, but he was a colossal failure. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Mercenary. He has worked as a Mercenary like his mother before him.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he seems to be bored by most things
