He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying south to reunite his family. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: He is a pot bellied eastern man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He wears a tight fitting black shirt and pants. His hair is silver, silky, and of moderate length. He has black eyes.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Qemuel liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He bought a spear and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes giants are coming to abduct people. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was born in a small desert village. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature monstrous two handed axe.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and many giants want him driven away

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He worked as a nervous Mayor and found it very stressful. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Description: He is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest, and carries spears. His white hair is braided into rings. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Zepar embodies much of what other species detest in the Tieflings. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Zepar grew up listening to his mother's many stories. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Carter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he is unsatisfied with his job
