Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Gnomes in Cockaby's homeland. Cockaby decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
