Description: A middle-aged man, he prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs, and is pretty ugly. He sports a long auburn beard, and similarly colored long hair. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: Peren was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has never given up on his writing dream.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Server for hire.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He disdains his fellow easterners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the east. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has achieved small success as a Ruler.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: He was born in the west. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Herbalist. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
