History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. After a long history of fighting, Bertram and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Tarak lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents enrolled him in a Commoner school at a young age so that he could practice his necromantic talents. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Hunter but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. After coming to the age of reason, Valorean took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. Chem enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable.
