When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Body Guard. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Bookbinder. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: Born to a Weaver, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He found a children's book about a Dragonborn Commoner who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend.

He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Gale hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats.
