History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Paelias fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Rael speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He found a children's book about a Half-Elf Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Half-Elven artifacts is his passion.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Detective. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of goblins may trigger it at times.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. At some point he was captured by goblins and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the south. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a black collared shirt and grey pants. He accessorizes with a tan scarf around the waist and a strap diagonally across his shirt, and is pretty ugly. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His fierce amber eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Half-Elf in existence. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and balancing his hectic life and new fortune-teller responsibilities is difficult
