The war was a terrible time for him, and Five does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Five was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Five was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.

History: Cockaby lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company.
