History: Cairn hails from a village terrorized by illithids. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Cairn was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this western guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He has all his life been fascinated with painting.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Farmer. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Farmer and occasionally as a mercenary.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Pandjed was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
