History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He married young, but lost his spouse to brigands. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Half-Elves.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Frederick was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Half-Elven people; and to end his boredom

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He is an amazing painter.

History: Roland was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. His parents enrolled him in a Bard school at a young age so that he could practice his psionic talents. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Map Maker.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty brown coat over it, and is pretty ugly. His hair is cut close to his head. His blue eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
