History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. Shump was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Shump decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Darrow embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and wants to raise his children well

Description: This man is very fat, and prefers to wear brown clothing when he does not wear armor. His chestnut hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. He is baby faced.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Oren is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Bricklayer. He has achieved small success as a Bricklayer.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and balancing his hectic life and new bricklayer responsibilities is difficult

Description: This man is tall and muscular. He wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. His hair is cut close to his head. His blue eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and seeks redemption

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Born in the north to a Hunter, Kelter learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Ostracized due to the druidic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Hunter for hire.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Hunter responsibilities is difficult.
