History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Rolf alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. History: Born to a Assassin, his father struggled to pay the bills. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: He was born in the north. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Personality: Varis speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. While he appears to be a normal Half-Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
