History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Miner arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Shifting fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

Personality: Marbas speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Blacksmith hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and nothing but the best is good enough for him
