Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

During his travels, Direcris and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Direcris discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Direcris fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
