Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. History: Born to a Spice Merchant, his father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Hunter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Hunter for the past few years.

Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying south to reunite his family. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Theobald was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.
