History: He was born at the edge of vast island. His childhood dream was to be a Scribe, but he was a colossal failure. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Description: This tall, slender man is dressed in earthy colors with a blue and green handkerchief worn on his left side. He has a black handlebar mustache and slicked back black hair. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: He comes from a rich western family. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Bernard grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Bernard. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
