History: Heian was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Adept, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Elven companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Fragrant was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Fragrant fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the east. A gifted student he started as a Fisher, but he got bored and became a Healer. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

History: Raam hails from a village terrorized by drow. He married young, but lost his spouse to drow. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it
