History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Raam was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying south to reunite his family. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
