He found a children's book about a Halfling Warlock who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Erky was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Guard hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He became a Guard soon after.

History: Art hails from a village terrorized by drow. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Art was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Through the years after Sapply was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Sapply's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
