Description: His skin has the orange glow of too much sun. He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His white hair is still thick. His eyes are brown and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He hates giants. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Ûgakûga was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Orc companion (his 'brother'). Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Ûgakûga was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: This man stands a little under 6'9" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized grey coat. His dark red hair is braided into rings. He has several tiny opal earrings on each ear.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He is greedy; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears professional attire. He has done his best to style his red hair to look like a famous performer. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. Eberk is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Eberk was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and retire the richest man in the west

Description: He is an attractive man, lean and moderately muscular. He wears a simple brown robe with tan stripes complete with hood. His crest is cut close to his head. He has several tiny sapphire earrings on each ear.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers.

Description: He is a small man, but exceptionally fit. He wears a tattered pair of loose brown pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. He wears a feathered hat to hide his balding. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Mhurren is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.
