Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. His black hair is singed and shortened. His eyes are a pleasant red.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. The war was a terrible time for him, and Melech does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Melech fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and to find somewhere to settle down

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). He has a long black beard with little hanging trinkets. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and retire the richest man in the north

Description: He wears dark leathers with embroidery. He is portly but not overly obese. His brown hair is knotted and matted. His half smiles and hazel eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. He is an amazing painter.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. Through the years after Pallabar was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Pallabar's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against gnolls.

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He got into the Herbalist business at a young age. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: Further expansion of business.
