Description: This exceptionally lanky man does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His skin is flawless and his green eyes scan people very quickly.
Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Heian was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and to share knowledge with the world

Description: This man stands a little under 4'3" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized tan coat. With bright white hair and a scraggly beard. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.
Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Blacksmith arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he is greedy

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. His chestnut hair and beard is wavy and long. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.
Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.
History: Borun was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). During his travels, Borun and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Borun discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Borun fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.
History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: He is lean but muscular and is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright grey and white, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He has styled his red hair well, parting it to the right. His amber eyes are slightly larger than normal.
Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Dilettante business.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Jocelyn was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Jocelyn and his spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: To settle down with his crush; and he would like to get married and retire
