History: Thradal was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Thradal never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Born to a Shepherd, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and wants to raise his children well

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Chad's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Chad was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. While he appears to be a normal Half-Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he desires power and/or immortality
