He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shortspear.

History: Kriv was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: Nicholas wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Adept, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born to a Locksmith, his father struggled to pay the bills. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.
