History: Gifted from a young age, Purban studied abroad. Purban was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Purban decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Halflings. His skin is light but he possesses many grey ritualistic tattoos. He wears a brown vest and prefers grey and green shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. He wears a feathered hat to hide his balding. His green eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. Watson liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Watson fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: This slender man stands about 5'0". He wears a blue coat over a black low-cut shirt, and a Stetson hat upon his head. His hair, while still mostly golden, has prominent grey streaks. His skin is flawless and his violet eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 7. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Detective but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the south. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying south to reunite his family. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Gennal alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
