Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes brigands are coming to abduct people. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying south to reunite his family. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes giants are coming to abduct people. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was born into a rich family. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He became a Masseuse soon after.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Masseuse and was forced into it by his family; and he is greedy

Description: He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with Stetson hat, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'4" when asserting himself. His blonde hair has been sun bleached extensively. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep green.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. The war was a terrible time for him, and Berrian does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Berrian alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
