History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Justin was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the orcs.

The war was a terrible time for him, and Nicholas does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Nicholas's homeland. Nicholas decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
