History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Nuraval was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has never given up on his painting dream.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.
