Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he dresses in black turtlenecks beneath a blue coat with brown slacks. His moppish blonde hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His eyes are likewise blue. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Halander was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.
