Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left hand, he is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy auburn hair. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He is a Courier first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. Everard enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Everard was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Druid, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Druid in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Courier. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Courier and occasionally as a mercenary.

Description: A stocky darker skinned man, he sports black clothing, slightly heavier than average wear. With a patchy brown beard and wild brown hair. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: He was born into a rich family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Naeris fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: He stands about 6'1" and wears a robe, a symbol of strength around his neck, and a longsword on his belt. His left leg appears badly burned and disfigured. His hair is short and red. He has amber eyes and a white hat with a blue feather.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Rolf embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and he's repulsed by the pc

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he is content

Description: He wears a worn and beaten armor. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his scimitar, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a skull on it. His silver hair is heavily combed to the left. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. During his travels, Varis and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Varis discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Varis fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it
