Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Ghaliver embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Ghaliver was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When Ghaliver reached his early adolescence his Halfling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Calcitro hails from a village terrorized by orcs. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Bidreked was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Aristocrat, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Aristocrat in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality.
