History: Born in the north to a Butcher, Shane learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to illithids.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame. His chestnut hair is braided into rings. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He got into the Knight business at a young age. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Vlorn never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He was born into a rich family. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Marbas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
