History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He tends to his Tailor job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He worked as a nervous Crown-heir and found it very stressful. He has worked as a Crown-heir like his mother before him.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He's in love; and he would like to get married and retire

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Glim is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born in the west. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Miller hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
