Description: A pudgy man standing about 3'3" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He is dressed in earthy colors with a white and red handkerchief worn on his left side. His tied-back hair is chestnut. His brown eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He is mildly Halfling supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ortegar grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ortegar. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the north. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and doesn't want to be a barkeep and was forced into it by his family

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is an amazing painter.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Ralf was born on a far southern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Fortune-teller. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
