History: Shifting was born the youngest of three triplets. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
