Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His brown hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. Bertram is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.
History: Bertram was born with his father's beautiful face. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.
History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He very much looks the part of a Hunter. His tied-back hair is black. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines green.
Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing writing.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Hunter arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He worked as a nervous Hunter and found it very stressful. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: He wears light armors faded through time and improper care. His blonde hair is heavily combed to the right. He is baby faced.
Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this western guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. Arannis enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.
History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. When Arannis reached his early adolescence his Half-Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He now mingles about in high society.
Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs.

Description: This man wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. He usually doesn't wear a shirt, and sports empty pouches on his belt. His white hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.
Personality: Gimgen is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.
History: Gimgen was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Warrior, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Warrior in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.
