History: Shadow hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Shadow was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the south. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Sculptor. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and to unite with his sister

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
