He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Carpenter they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Butcher, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Veit alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was born in a small island village. He found a children's book about a Dragonborn Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature longbow.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it
