Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. He has worked as a Spice Merchant like his father before him.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and many illithids want him driven away

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Cimer was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Cimer decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
