History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Balam alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Orryn fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Gifted from a young age, Ekemon studied abroad. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes brigands are coming to abduct people. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Gifted from a young age, Sethrekar studied abroad. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands; and revenge
