History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Melech was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
