Description: He wears many layers of old clothing at all times, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'1" when asserting himself. He has no hair. His eyes are likewise gold.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. Astar is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Astar was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He worked as a nervous Locksmith and found it very stressful. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

He has styled his blue crest well, parting it to the right. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ortegar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the north were limited. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Mercenary for the past few years.
