Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he wears pastel trousers with blue and black striped suspenders. He wears various colorful collared shirts. He sports a long golden beard, and similarly colored long hair. He has several tiny sapphire earrings on each ear.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Dwarves.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Dwarven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Dwarven doctor. He has worked as a Herbalist like his mother before him.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and he is greedy

Description: He is a husky man, who wears dull black sweaters, loose grey pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed lance, just in case. His white hair is heavily combed to the right. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has worked as a Locksmith like his father before him.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Description: This eastern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His moppish black hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are hazel.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He is greedy; and money/treasure

Description: This man is very fat, and is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing tan cape and mantle trimmed with soft black waves gently in the breeze. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His violet eyes peer out from beneath his top tan hat.

Personality: He is a Dyer first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: His druidic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. A gifted student he started as a Carter, but he got bored and became a Dyer. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To be a Carter again; and many illithids want him driven away
