History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Rûg was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Rûg fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. A freak accident while working with his Guard father left him crippled. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
