Xappan Weary, Male Tiefling [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. His dark red hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a deerstalker hat. He wears a mask on his face.
Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Tieflings.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Tieflings in the south were limited. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Salasar Umbyrphrael, Male Dragonborn [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He wears a red shirt with thin violet vertical stripes and black pants. He has moderate length white crest. His red eyes are slightly larger than normal.
Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.
History: Salasar was born the youngest of three triplets. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Salasar was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.
Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

Umpen Dunben, Male Gnome [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a tea of some kind. He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle, marred by teas. His chestnut hair is still thick. He has several tiny sapphire earrings on each ear.
Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Umpen is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: He comes from a rich western family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.
Ideals: Philantrophist, Justice. Flaws: Ugly. Bonds: Rich. Occupation: Shepherd
Voice: Timid voice

Laucian Raethran, Male Elf [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. He has styled his auburn hair well, parting it to the right. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is frequently practicing swordplay.
History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Laucian fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
Ideals: Fighting, Disciplined. Flaws: Insane. Bonds: Immigrant, Military. Occupation: Server
Voice: Eastern European accent
