His blue unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He disdains his fellow easterners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A gifted student he started as a Navigator, but he got bored and became a Laborer. He has achieved small success as a Laborer.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Description: He prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. He has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. His hair is auburn and very short. His violet eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. Being a Layabout kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Description: This man wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. His golden hair is unkempt and raggedy. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. The war was a terrible time for him, and Bernard does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Bernard was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Spice Merchant they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Cartwright, and he later adopted a second son.
