History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born in the west to a Butcher, Grûblik learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His first spouse was a Barkeep, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Butcher.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Purban grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Purban. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Tieflings in the east were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He was granted druidic powers by his dying brother.
